• How much notice do you need to book an event?

    • There really isn't a set timeline- we have booked weddings as short as three weeks in advance and as far out as 2 years! If we're available and able to cater for you, we will! 6-18 months is ideal.

  • What does your staff wear?

  • If I'm only having a buffet, do I still need staff?

    • Unless you are opting for a drop-off style event, then yes, you still need staffing for a buffet-style dinner. Our staff sets up, replenishes the food as needed, buses tables, packages up leftovers for you to keep, cleans the kitchen, picks up trash, and breaks down at the end.

  • What do you require for booking?

    • A signed contract and a 50% deposit.

  • Am I able to make tweaks to my menu after I book?

    • Absolutely! Nothing is set in stone until the week before the wedding, when final numbers are due and the menu needs to be finalized.

  • Do you provide tablecloths?

    • Table linens will need to be rented, as we do not stock them. We are able to place the order for you, but as we are typically one of the last vendors to arrive on the scene (food is very time-sensitive!), someone else needs to be able to accept the rental order and lay out the tablecloths earlier in the day for your florist and photographer to be able do their work long before we arrive.

  • Do you provide decor/florals/centerpieces?

    • Sorry, but no. We have amazing friendor vendors who do, though! Check out our preferred vendors page. We provide all the serving equipment needed to display the food beautifully, but we do not provide any florals, lanterns, candles, etc. We stick to what we are best at: FOOD.

  • Do you make wedding cakes?

    • Nope. We specialize in the savory parts of your meal. We do offer desserts, but we leave the decorated cakes to the professionals!

  • Do you cut and serve the cake?

    • Yep and yep!

  • Do you travel to cater?

    • If your venue is more than an hour away from Huntsville, the venue would need to have a commercial kitchen on-site for us to be able to cater for you there. If you are unsure of the kitchen facilities at your venue, we are happy to check in with the venue coordinator to see what they have for us. Travel fees are situational and will be discussed on an individual basis.

  • What do you do with the leftovers?

    • We package them up for you to keep! It's your food after all. We provide all the containers necessary for this.

  • Do you bartend?

    • Unfortunately, no. We do not carry the proper licensing or insurance to serve alcohol. Check with your venue, though, as several of them do provide this service.

  • What time do you usually arrive before an event?

    • About 1.5 to 2 hours prior to the reception start time, depending on how involved your menu is. Our squad is very experienced and quick quick quick!

  • How long do you stay at a wedding?

    • Til the end!

  • Do you make a plate for the Bride and Groom?

    • Absolutely! We can make a plate for you at any time before or during the reception, and will also pack you up a to-go box for afterwards.

  • Do you have set menus?

    • No way. Our menus are custom-made to the individual event based on your preferences, your budget, the season, the theme, etc.

  • Can you accommodate [gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, allergies]?

    • Yes!

  • How many staff members will be there at my event?

    • I always say "enough". We bring plenty of people for your event to run smoothly. The actual number of staff is calculated based on the complexity of your menu and your headcount.

  • Does your staff remove trash?

    • It's not fun, but yes, we do.

  • Does your staff bus tables?

    • Indeed.

  • Do you provide real china? What is the charge for it?

    • We do not stock real china/glassware/flatware, so it will need to be rented. We recommend Mullins Special Occasions. On top of the cost of the rentals, we will add a "scullery fee" to account for the extra labor involved in unpacking, busing, scraping, rinsing, and re-packing the rentals. The scullery fee is situational and calculated on an individual event basis.

  • What are your disposable goods like?

    • Our plates (salad/cake size and dinner size) are heavy clear acrylic. Our silverware is the most expensive available on the market and is silver-coated plasticware that looks real until you pick it up. Our cups are clear acrylic. Napkins are white Vanity Fair dinner napkins. Bonus: we do include cake plates and cutlery as part of our disposable goods.
